Here we have a wonderful 1800's Silver Plated Knife Stand or Spoon Holder. Made by "Roswell Gleason & Sons" RARE American made, Roswell Gleason & Sons, Dorchester, Mass. Circa 1850-1860 This is a stand to hold your personal use spoons for sold table service use. These were put out for use as a cruet stand, for Ice cream, Deserts, fruit dishes, but most of the time they were to hold the individual CAVIAR use spoons. However you can use it for this or something else, anything you like! It is a beautiful addition to your party or table setting. And a RARE PIECE of Americana as well! Don't miss out!
