A gorgeous antique vegetable bowl by J & G Meakin made in England. The pattern name is Acantha and consists of flowers and shells. This china is very rare, I have only in my searches seen one other covered vegetable bowl for sale and it was cracked and crazed where this bowl is not. (See Condition Below). The interior of the bowl is bright white. We have more pieces of the pattern. This bowl would be a gorgeous display piece in a china cabinet. Perfect for a collector of antique china.

This is an antique dish dating from the late 1800s. What a wonderful statement dish for your table, buffet, or sideboard.

This pattern is very rare and very hard to find and we were extremely lucky to find two of these. The second one will be listed separately because of its condition.

3 inches in height without lid
5 inches in height with lid

This antique bowl is in excellent condition. It has no cracks, crazing, or utensil marks on the bowl or the cover. There is one chip on the bowl behind one of the handles (Please see photos). Our price reflects this.
