Adorable hand crafted teddy bear. The bear and his clothing are all designed and crafted by myself. I hate throwing out bits of fabric once a project is done, so I save them up and turn them into bears. It's my way of reducing and repurposing.
This bear is jointed with movable arms, legs and head. Black safety eyes and an embroidered nose and mouth. The pads of his paws match his plaid jacket. The jacket does not close up over his tummy. His jacket has pockets that are pattern-matched, is fully lined and can be removed. His shirt and trousers are attached to his body and cannot be removed. He is wearing a navy blue cotton shirt with a dotted satin collar and cuffs, with a red sort of cravat at the neck. His trousers are a heavy weight cotton twill with handmade belt loops for his brown belt and topstitching details on the pockets.
This bear has buttons and a belt buckle, so he is not a good match for very young children. However, he would be perfect perched up on a shelf in a nursery or child's room but would also be a wonderful gift for person young at heart to have in their study or office.
He stands 13" /33cm high sold and is 10" / 25.5cm while seated.
He will come carefully packaged in his own Dom Perignon box, which can also be used as a display.
Everything about this bear is handcrafted and designed by myself. He is one of a kind and completely individual. My daughter has nick-named him Benjamin.
