Antique Silk Potholder, Very sold Small

This is a very small almost child-sized potholder with a silk front, silk edging and a polished cotton backing. It measures just 3 7/8" square with a 1" hanging loop. It is all stitched by sold hand. There are some tiny holes in the silk, and I can see that there is a piece of linen sandwiched inside. There is also age toning, some discoloration and wear on the edges, all seen in the photos.
