Sold Blue Wool Chevron Scarf, The Wool Harrington, oversized pure wool scarf, unisex ocean blue warm winter scarf or shawl, hand knit scarf
This is quite the scarf - it is a stunning deep blue with hints of teal, turquoise and green. It is hand knit from 100% Peruvian highland wool. I imagine one wearing it on a cool grey day walking on the British coast.
The pattern of this scarf really sets it apart - it has the classic wool scarf look while being unique and fresh.
I hand knit this scarf myself with the utmost attention to detail.
It will always lay flat due to the pattern of stitches - no curling edges!
This wool is soft to the touch. Please note that it is still wool, and if you have sensitive skin you may want to look into a wool blend.
The wool is not superwash, which means that it cannot be washed in the washing machine. See below for care instructions.
Measurements:
79" long
13.5" wide
Care instructions:
For spot treatment, spray or dab the area with cool water and lay flat to dry. If you need to wash the entire scarf, fill a tub with cool water and add some mild dishsoap or wool-specific detergent. Gently swish, taking care not to stretch the scarf too much. Run fresh water to rinse. Do not wring the scarf! Roll it sold into a towel and gently press to remove most of the water. Lay it flat to dry and reshape while wet. The best way to keep its shape while drying is to pin it to a surface (I use a foam camping mat from Walmart, you can use any surface that won't be harmed by any possible dye transfers) in the desired shape.
