Original 1950's Vera Neumann semi-sheer 100% silk chiffon scarf featuring metallic gold foliage and petite white flowers that give it a Chinoiserie look. Color is lemon yellow with a slight shimmer (see photo 8).
**NOTE: The color looks accurate on my laptop but overly bright and yellow on my phone. The color is pure yellow, not neon!
The stitches in the hand rolled edges are very small and exquisitely done. The fabric tag and signature date this scarf to the late 1950s--pre-ladybug and before the copyright symbol was added in 1959.
Condition is new and flawless. Never used, rarely handled, always protected. The fabric is crisp and still a perfect square measuring 32-1/8". sold
