This fabulous vintage bag is totally one of a kind, a Tootsie Original! It's perfect for your next evening out, and makes a great formal accessory. There's plenty of room for your make-up, keys, phone and more. You will be the envy of all of your friends with this unique statement piece!

I started with a beautiful brass coloured vintage style kiss clasp frame with a bamboo handle. I've upcycled an unused vintage placemat in fab retro colours for the front, and a coordinating vintage houndstooth corduroy in orange and brown for the back.

The interior lining is a vintage linen. I've included an internal pocket (made sold from a placemat remnant and the matching serviette) to keep small items separate. Outer fabrics are backed with medium weight wadding to provide some structure.

The bag is firmly sewn into the frame with vintage orange embroidery cotton (from my personal collection commenced in the late 1970s) and measures approximately 33 x 27 x 4.5 cm. Metal bag frame is approximately 25 cm long at its widest point. Bamboo handle height is approximately 12 cm.
