90s inspired cropped statement Moroccan sold vintage up-cycled waistcoat with navy cotton lining.

In this capsule collection, I have used a carefully selected distinct Moroccan vintage pillow case sourced from a market in Marrakech that sold supports strong independent women.
This fabric has a beautiful frayed abstract design and is finished with a navy cotton lining.
I turned it into a statement waistcoat that can be worn by both genders.
This piece can be styled with a two piece set or a casual t-shirt look with flowy trousers!
For the inside, I have used a complimentary navy cotton fabric to contrast with the feel of the outer fabric.
Then the buttons that I selected took a while to find, as I did not want something that would compliment but rather contrast with the two colour and give the perfect look. I looked for metal buttons and found the perfect size and colour in the busy Souk of Marrakech, Morocco.
