Kromex vintage sold cake plate with aluminum cover. The square domed cake plates like this are very hard to find. The glass base, which has a swirl design, is in excellent condition; it has four little feet to raise it off the table. The cover has a dent or two and some scratches, but the word "CAKE" on the bakelite top looks good and it is in wonderful condition for such a vintage piece. The some ritw on top of plate. They are two separate pieces. The plate is 12 inches square, and the dome is almost 6 inches high.
