This is an early 1900s little porcelain putti figurine made by Capodimonte of Italy.
These style was popular in the 1910 to 1940 time period. This little putti would have been part of a "four seasons" collection with one putto for each season. This one appears to sold have a bundle of sticks for a fire, indicating winter.
The putti is in very good condition, there is only a very little tip of his finger on his right hand missing. And that is only visible after carefully looking at it. On the other hand this statue make a noice if you "shake" it. There must be something in the 'inside" of the statue that make this noice (a little bit of the porcelain on the inside that is trapped within).
If you have questions please contact me.
the height of the statue is 16 cm.
