sold Festive beaded Kumihimo mini cluster, chunky necklace and earring set I've called "Orange Sherbet" since the colors remind me of one of my favorite frozen desserts. Although this set is perfect for the summer, it can also span the seasons with darker colored clothing. The necklace will fit up to a 20 inch / 51 cm neck and the earrings are lightweight and comfortable for all day wear for all but the most sensitive ears. The necklace is securely fastened with a toggle clasp and the earrings utilize a lever back clasp, both in silver plate hypoallergenic material.

Kumihimo (pronounced koo-me-he-mow) is an ancient Japanese braiding technique dating back to Samurai warrior days when leather and silk braids were used to fasten together the warrior's armor before going into battle. Lightweight and flexible it was quite strong. The technique evolved to more peaceful applications over the centuries and has become extremely popular as a fashion accessory.

All necklaces contain the "Beckoning Cat" tag.

All jewelry items are placed in a cotton filled box or securely wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in either a padded shipping envelope or box (depending on the size and weight of the item(s). All shipments include a tracking number where available.
