'Absolute Beginners'

This piece is a personal favorite of mine. Inspired in theme and palette by my favorite director Wes Anderson and his film 'Moonrise Kingdom'. Equally inspired by my obsession with the kitschy, fabulous 'Big Eye' painters of the 1960's like Keane, Maio, Lee & Eve. The title comes from the cult classic "80's does 60's" movie 'Absolute Beginners' with theme song by David Bowie.

This is a Giclee stretched canvas print of my original painting 'Absolute Beginners'. Created for the 'Wes Andershow' at Meltdown Comics (RIP) in Los Angeles, CA 2014. Original is sold.

Each print is signed and comes with an authenticity card.
