Product code: Antique Commercial Door Handles, Nickel-Plated Cast Brass Yale Hospital Arm Pull, Set of 2 Each, NOS ca sold 1960

This is a pair (set of 2 each) of cool solid nickel-plated cast brass door handles from about 1960 (NOS - New Old Stock). Technically called a Hospital Arm Pull, they are designed to be mounted with the tail down and were used in many commercial application where hands on the handle were not preferred. The design allows you to look you arm (wrist) under the tail to sold pull the door open...no transfer of hand microbes either way! The Yale design has a wide (1-1/8") handle with an almost 9" total length. These handles are 2" wide at the bottom mount plate with a standoff of about 3-1/2+" at the tail tip. Mid Century Modern cool, these curvy and sexy handles are and would be cool on any door (a pair of barn doors for sure).

Salvaged from old hardware store inventory, these pieces are New Old Stock and come complete with their original all nickel-plated brass Chicago bolts (through the door). They also can be mounted with regular screws if you would like (not supplied). Weighing in at over 1lb-2oz each, price is for the set of 2 each of these great pieces of American door hardware (manufactured by Yale in Stamford, CT). At posting I have 3 sets of 2 each in stock.
