Mona Lisa- made with soda pop cans, artist's sold rendition of Leonardo DaVinci painting, Aluminum Can Art, Recycled Art, Soda Can Art
I have entitled my line of aluminum can art "I Nailed It!" This is the another in my series of reproductions of famous paintings using soda pop cans. The picture contains hundreds of small pieces of soda pop cans, cut out with scissors, and assembled mosaic style. They are hand nailed to foam board. Each piece of the picture sparkles and shines as the light hits it. This picture is surrounded with glass tiles and framed in a 9 x 12 black metal frame. It takes countless hours to produce each picture. Mona Lisa was painted by DaVinci in 1507. The portrait took him four years to complete and is revered as the greatest piece of artwork of all time. It will never be for sale, but is estimated to sold be worth over 700 million dollars!
