Vintage engraved gold-filled mechanical pencil sold

Vintage Wahl Eversharp sold gold-filled ringtop mechanical pencil c.1920's has "check" herringbone design & o-ring for hanging on a pendant.
The name "Frances" is engraved along the side and around the top finial.

Marks around top read "Wahl Eversharp" & "Patented Gold Filled"
