This gorgeous handcrafted stained glass mosaic panel features a yellow sunflower blossom visited by a bright orange monarch butterfly.

The artwork has been created using hand-cut stained glass adhered to a solid glass base. The foreground pieces have been hand-painted to create the illustrative detail of the blooms and foliage.
The mosaic is permanently mounted in a vintage solid wood frame ( 9 1/8" x 10 1/8") and finished with a charcoal-colored grout. The mosaic panel comes with a hanging kit.

This unique combination of stained glass, mosaic, and illustrative painting techniques creates a detailed piece of artwork that "glows" when light is transmitted through it.

The glass artworks look beautiful when they are backlit by natural light. Alternatively, they can also be displayed with artificial backlighting. Intended for indoor display.

All windows and most frames used for these artworks are vintage. Small signs of age and character such as dings or scratches may be present.
