This stylish set of 4 Salad plates were made by Shelley China and pattern #13240 is named HULMES ROSE. Snow-white porcelain is decorated with cheerful sprays of colourful flowers in full-bloom circling the wide, scalloped rim of each approx. 8 1/8" plate. The centre of each has a smaller rose in fuchsia-pink with the 6-sided flower petal detail in the fine china and plate rims are embossed with the fan texture detail indicative of the Dainty shape. The scalloped outer edge of each plate is trimmed in soft, pastel-green. This set has seen little use and no chips, cracks or crazing are noted. Back-stamps date the set 1945 - 1966 and this pattern is not often seen. We have included a close-up of each plate for your viewing. This set of 4 plates would be a wonderful addition to an existing collection and the price includes shipping within North America.
