1946 Am Lee sterling and onyx necklace and earrings set. This set is not only gorgeous its a piece of jewelry history. Its vintage filigree and high sold quality rhinestones are just stunning. It comes in old original clam shaped case. The case is not in great shape but the jewelry is!! I have included a little history of the necklace below: In 1946, the Am Lee Jewelry Company was incorporated in Rhode Island along with many Costume Jewelry companies. Am Lee uses sterling silver to make jewelry with sophisticated craftsmanship and elegant shapes. Most of them use filigree techniques as the main body of jewelry, with Stone, imitation pearls, artificial Gemstone, etc., which are quite elegant and beautiful. And Am Lee's products are speculated to be discontinued in the 1960s, which lasted less than 20 years, and the collections left behind are also very rare and precious.
