Czech Glass Ruby sold Pink Fire Opal Necklace

Vintage Czech ruby pink glass fire opals are set in new brass crown settings in this necklace of 10x8 mm oval stones.

These "opals" are one of the reasons Czechoslovakia, (as it was then called) was world renowned for their glass gems. The glass is inlaid with fascinating flashes of gold, silver, and dashes of color that glow like opals, but are in a sold class by themselves.
