Iris painting, flower painting. Lovely little original French oil painting on canvas. It features a central yellow iris with a bluey purple one and a deep red and pink one to the bottom. It has deep green leaves and a beige and blue background. All in all just a really pleasing little picture that would go in any room of the house. It is painted on canvas with a wooden frame and sold looks quite old. The canvas is stretched over the frame and secured with tacks. The whole thing is a little grubby, with age, but that just seems to add to it's charm.

It measures 24cms (9 1/2") tall x 18cms (7 1/8") wide approximately.
As with all my items it is in the lovely timeworn condition you would expect from an item of this age. The whole thing is a little grubby. There is an odd spot of white paint on the canvas. The tacks are rusty with age.
