Product code: 1930s Style Black Satin and Rhinestone Cocktail Dress or LBD Sz 8-9 #2112 sold

Description
A sparkling and elegant 1930s style black satin and rhinestone cocktail or dinner dress or little black dress. It features long sleeves, rhinestone cuffs and shoulder epaulets, fluid draping, and a flattering sheath cut. A true vintage dress from Albert Nippon 1970s that is as relevant today as when it was made. It has a classic and classy design with no collar on the high rounded neckline, a weighty charmeuse type fabric that has fluid drape, and the shoulder epaulets and cuffs glitter with prong set rhinestones. The dress has black enamel in silver square buttons down the back that match the silver rhinestone settings, and a hook and eye at the top. The dress was quality made in the USA. The dress is just below knee length on our 6 foot model. The colour is jet black. The dress has the following approximate measurements:

bust (pit to pit) 36"
waist 36"
hips 36"
shoulder to hem 42"
sleeve inseam 16 1/2"
cuff circumference 8"
shoulder to shoulder across the back 15"
The measurements are approximately equivalent to a US size 8-9 rather than the 6 as labelled, as it is loose on our size 6 model. However, the design is made to fit loosely and I would not recommend the dress for any size larger than size 9. Please review the measurements carefully and compare them to a dress that fits from your own wardrobe. The fabric label states that the gown is 65% acetate and 35% viscose (both of which are versions of rayon), so the dress is made of natural fibre. This dress is well made as one would expect from a gown that was quality made in the USA, and drapes beautifully, and has tremendous movement from the sparkle of the light on the rhinestones and the sheen of the lovely fabric. The dress was probably made in the 1970s and is a vintage garment that is at least 35 years old - there may be minor signs of age related wear, such as tiny picks or loose threads - although I did not notice any. The dress is fresh and clean, and it is ready to wear to sold your 1930s-themed affair or to any formal event that calls for a classy, elegant little black dress with a sparkling Old Hollywood 1930s vibe. With the straight cut, it could also be a 1920s style dinner dress. Another awesome 1920s or 1930s style dress - sparkling and elegant in with a rhinestone shoulder epaulets and cuffs, and fluid draping, only from Belle Jardiniere Mode. Accessories not included - see our other listings. Scroll across to see more pictures of this gorgeous evening gown, which are part of the description.
