This Arabia Finland brown "Heluna" the cow pitcher sold is charming and very collectible. These pitchers were made from 1955 to 1967. The Heluna / Cow series design is by Anja Juurikkala, on forms designed by Kaarina Aho. This is a 30 oz. pitcher, an excellent size for milk, drinks, or a bunch of flowers. This pitcher is in very good vintage condition, with no cracks, chips, or crazing. It has a little roughness on the end of the spout (see photo #6) and some small marks on the base.
The pitcher is 5 1/4" tall, and almost 4" in diameter across the mouth, not including the spout. It is marked on the bottom with Arabia Finland and the crown mark.
