Our extra dark Cheese Board with Handle (as pictured) is handcrafted from Peruvian Black Walnut Hardwood which is fairly difficult to find and is why we craft these on a made-to-order basis. As depicted in the photos, the sold coloring is extremely dark with a maroon hue. As pictured, it measures approximately 20 inches in length by 6 inches in width by 1 inch in thickness. The classic burnished copper and bronze handles accentuate the dark toned black walnut tight grain. This board also can be ordered with or without handle(s). This Serving Board is unique and personalized making it the perfect gift for any occasion: Christmas; Housewarming; Engagement; Wedding; Mother's Day; Father's Day; Foodie Birthday; or as a Hostess Gift.

This Peruvian Black Walnut Hardwood Cheese Board may be engraved using one of our other “Complimentary” engraving styles at no additional charge. Prior to shipping, each board is lovingly finished with our Sun Kissed Cordial to bring out its distinctive grain. Sun Kissed Cordial is our proprietary blend of food grade natural emollients specifically designed to moisturize, protect, and maintain natural wood products. No stain, polyurethane, or petroleum bi-product is used on our cutting boards.

To help keep your serving/cutting board lustrous and in optimal condition long after it is purchased, we recommend regular conditioning with our Sun Kissed Cordial. It is an all-natural wood conditioning balm made of food grade essential oils and local beeswax. It has been made available for purchase in our shop and can be purchased in two sizes: 2 ounce or 8 ounce tins.

All cutting and serving boards are one of a kind, each with its own distinct wood grain, markings, and imperfections that are common to natural materials. Sun Kissed Laser Designs endeavors to create and deliver a superior quality product; however, please be aware that environmental factors such as humidity and temperature may cause some warping or cupping. Pieces are fragile and should be handled with care to prevent breakage.
