This kokeshi doll has a body which appears to be carved into a tree branch with some of the bark and imperfections worked into the design. It features a mountain scene with snow and a river. The surface of the doll is not glossed over.
The wood is possibly birch and the remnants of the bark make this a one of a kind piece.

As with any vintage item, there are minor variations in the crafting process and signs of wear that appear through the years. These minor imperfections can be present. All of our items are vintage. I have not attempted to clean the items just gave them a wipe with a dry cloth.
