Beautifully handcaved pictures throughout the box (around the top and sides) There are nice worn indentations around the sides from handling over the years. It also has an intricate beautiful buddha carving underneath. Age is estimated. This is an absolutely beautiful conversation piece for an office table or any Chinoiserie home decor style.
