Pitcher sold And Bowl / Vintage Pitcher And Basin / Sponged Stoneware Pitcher And Bowl / Robinson And Ransbottom Pottery Company Roseville Ohio

This vintage Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. spongeware stoneware pitcher and basin/bowl set was found at a local Western Pennsylvania estate sale. It is unusual because it is heavily sponged. It is sponged blue over a cream glaze. The cream glaze resembles an antique stoneware; however it was probably made during the 1960's. A substantial weight st 5 lbs. The bottom of each piece is marked: RRPCO, Roseville, Ohio.

Condition: very good. sold All the sponged blue is done by hand, which was normal when these pieces were made. It also has a heavy gloss glaze.

Measurements: The set is 9" tall with the pitcher in the bowl. The bowl is 11.5" across the top and 4.5" across the bottom and the bowl is 3" tall. LRPbt
