One of the Best, a Edgar A. Poe Shrine filled with inspiring vignettes of his life

I admit it: I am obsessed with Edgar A. Poe. Our home was filled with books and his dark stories appealed to me at a young age. This wonderful shrine is filled with vignettes sold of his life, incredible losses, heartbreaks, illness and his writings. Despite all of those tragic moments, he persevered. He was indeed "One of the Best".

Created with ephemera, acrylics, texture paste, German Dresden Papers, found objects over a wooden box.

The shrine can be displayed standing or lying down and can be closed.
