Vintage, mid-century modern, brass and beige painted metal wall lamp/sconce, with clear cracked glass shade and hanging switch, made in Germany, by Neuhaus Leuchten, in the 1950s.
This lovingly designed and high-quality processed wall sconce, features a decorative rectangular brass and beige painted metal base and has two apertures on sold the back for mounting direct to wall.
The lamp shade is made of clear glass/crystal, with a cracked/textured finishing and a clean and elegant minimalist design.
This Beautiful small wall lamp has a beige hanging/pulling cord switch, with a white plastic handle at the end.
The lamp is wired for mounting direct to wall and is fitted with an E 14 socket bulb. The bulb holder is made of silver metal. The bulb is not included. The switch and the internal electrical (wiring) are the original. Please note that this is an European lamp.
The lamp is marked. On the bottom has a rectangular white paper sticker, with red letters, that reads: "Vor Montage - Nur die beiden - Neuhaus Leuchten".
This mid century design wal lamp/sconce is a classical light fittings in a timeless design.
An eye-catcher for any entrance, bedroom or bathroom. Would look great in a hallway/corridor as a statement piece of home decor.

CONDITION
The wall lamp is in very good working condition, with a nice patina and few signs of wear consistent with age and use.
All the components, including the glass shade, are the vintage original ones, are in original condition and were carefully clean. Only the pulling cord switch has been repaired and now works perfectly.
The brass base is in excelent condition with only some little oxidized areas that could not be cleaned perfectly.
The beige painted metal parts shows some very small points of paint loss (so small that is allmost impossible to see it) and two stains with the color changed - One big in the front area (its possible to see it on the second photo) and a smaller one in the lower corner of the left side.
All the metal parts have no cracks or dented areas and are slightly patinated.
The glass lampshade is in excelent condition, very shiny and clear, with no chips or loss of material.
The beige hanging/pulling cord present a patina according to its age.
The lamp has been tested and work perfectly, including the pulling switch.
The lamp is in overall very good and original vintage condition with minor traces of use and age and fully functioning - Ready to use.
