Morrisonite Wedge sold

sold Morrisonite is one of the five porcelain jaspers. Porcelain refers to the way these jaspers polish to a brilliant shine. They truly are a joy to work! This jasper was discovered in Idaho and is no longer available for mining.
Offered here is a lovely example of the famous jasper. It resembles a delectable piece of pie with milk chocolate brown and clouds of lime-edged pink. A tip of caramel tops it all off. It is cut in a very generous size with a flawless glassy polished top and matte back. The "chocolate" edge has a few chalky areas that will be covered in a bezel setting.

It weighs in at a whooping 64.22 carats.
