Brown Ferragamo Shoulder sold Bag With Goldtone Chain - 1970s or 1980s

This vintage Salvatore Ferragamo brown shoulder bag/clutch, with gold tone chain, was my own & very much loved. I purchased it from their Bond Street, London shop, where I also purchased many of their shoes. I can't remember the year I made the purchase, it was in the 1970s or 1980s. Now that I live in the Italian countryside this handbag is not needed, but still much loved. The Ferragamo label is shown in the last photo, in the pouch on the other side of the label is the registration or style number of the bag 622241.

Details & Condition
The bag is in good overall condition, the stitching shows wear in the places where the chain touches the leather sides, this can not be seen from the outside of the bag.
If you look at the 7th photo you will see that the leather tab holding the chain in place on one side has come out of place. It can easily be glued back into place, or you can use the bag just as a clutch.
The bag measures approximately 9 inches wide & 7 inches long.
The bag has one slip pouch & 1 zipper pouch.

I have not polished the bag because I didn't want to risk any of it coming off on someone's clothes. I used to polish it with brown polish, buff it down then use saddle soap or a clear polish on top. Doing this will cover any scratches & protect the leather.
