Born in Calabria, he developed his artistic vocation in Florence where he had the chance to meet Filippo Tommaso Marinetti and his artistic movement. In 1932 he created and was the leader of the Independent Futurist Movement, presented in Supremazia futurista, manifest of the independent Futurist Group, accepted and recognized by Marinetti.
