Very tall bright colored vintage Western Germany beer stein with lid. Ornate w/ Thumb Lever from 1950's.

It has a village scene with a woman and a man, in front of a water well. German mountain sold houses typical of the Alpes. The woman is wearing colorful dresses over a navy background. The top and bottom of the stein are painted with a shimmery glaze.

Made out of hand painted stoneware in vivid colors and very detailed. Ornate embossed hinged pewter lid with very ornate thumb lift. Lid is solidly anchored and is not bent.

The porcelain stein is marked.

In perfect condition.
