Vintage French, silver plated bread basket with footed base, pierced work fluted top and maker stamps, circa mid century.

A delightful silver plated basket on footed base. This would have been originally made as a bread basket but could really have any number of uses.

There are some signs of wear though overall in very good condition. A small section has sold been bent a little, on the outside edge. There are a few scratches inside.

There is a small maker stamp which is no longer legible and another stamp, 15g, for the amount of silver in the plate.

A very pretty silver plated basket which would look very attractive on any table.
