Beach bikes hold a special place in shore life. Beat up, rusting and aged - they are prized for riding up to check the waves, getting around town and cruising the boardwalk. I spotted this veteran of the beach and was charmed by its wonderful colors and vintage logo. This is an unframed giclée print of my original watercolor painting, which has been sold.
My paintings are inspired by the natural beauty of the beach, the flora and fauna of the sea and the play of light across nature throughout the seasons.
The rich tapestry of natural and man-made artifacts of the Jersey Shore - the boardwalks, beaches and old shore sold houses with a patina of memories of vacations gone by - are my favorite subjects. Vibrant colors and details are used to capture unique character in my watercolor and oil paintings.
