This beautiful leather journal is 100% handmade using fine Italian Saffiano Cross Hatch Leather. This journal is made using solid 5 oz. leather and is 9×6-14 over all in size and has a matching strap closure. The Journal has a 260 lined page 5-5/8 x sold 8-1/4 insert that is refillable.
All journal covers are solid leather, we do not use cardboard fillers.
What is Saffiano Cross Hatch Leather? Saffiano Cross Hatch leather was originally produced in Italy for the Prada brand. Since then, it's become a staple of many luxury line handbag companies and was a signature and patent of established design house Prada. Saffiano leather is famous for its diagonal lines and cross-hatch pattern which are machine-pressed into the wax coating of the leather giving it a slight sheen. As a result, the leather is highly scratch resistant, durable and exceptionally easy to keep clean.
