Early winter sold fields

This is a watercolor landscape on a wood board.
I love painting atmospheric scenes inspired by the farm land around western New York. The variety of colors and the changing light as the seasons change is always an inspiration.
I use watercolors in combination with liquid acrylics and india ink. This painting also has added mica flakes throughout.
The surfaces sheen changes due to the reflectives in the paint depending on the angle of view. This is difficult to accurately represent in a photograph, it sparkles and shines when the light is on it. It is beautiful!
This painting is 9.25” square and is ready to hang with a saw tooth hanger in the sold back.
