This delightful vintage 1960s earthenware dish from the Chelsea Pottery, London, was decorated and signed by Barbara Ross. One of a series of female portraits designed by artisans from the Chelsea Pottery in the 1960s, the image shows a woman with blue eyes in profile. A large flower with laurel is tucked into her loosely curled honey blonde hair. A timeless and romantic image with innocence and charm.

The ovoid footed dish stands approximately 1.5 inches (4 cm) high and measures approximately 8.25 inches (21 cm) in width. It can be used as a shallow bowl or hung on the wall. Previously enjoyed as wall art, I've left the original wire hanger attached as part of its history.

This beautiful Chelsea Pottery sold dish is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs.
